Chocolate brown must be the new black over at Nike. Shades of brown have become a constant in some of the most popular sneaker releases of the past few years. This theme is not changing anytime soon, either. Next up, the Nike Air Force 1 Low "SNKRS Day" 5th Anniversary edition.
So, August 8th (8/8) has some great significance. Yes, the 1992 Dream Team won gold and beat Croatia. Also, Roger Federer was born. The focus for now is SNKRS Day which shares the same date. SNKRS Day signifies the launch of the Nike SNKRS app. Not only is the AF1 celebrating 40 years, it will also get a special SNKRS Day release too.
Sail colored canvas and various knit materials can be seen throughout the upper. Brown covers the Swoosh on the sides, tongue tag, insoles, "Nike Air" branding on the back heels, and the outsole. Unique details include the wood lace dubraes with a roman numeral V on each, lace tips, and SNKRS Day dated hang tag. Each pair comes with special packaging, featuring a light brown colored box with white SNKRS Day labeling throughout.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low SNKRS Day 5th Anniversary is currently set to release on August 8th, 2022. It will drop exclusively on the Nike SNKRS app. Retail is TBD.
