Arguably the most iconic sneaker of all time, the Nike Air Force 1 is a pair that needs no introduction as all it takes is a step outside to see sneakerheads and casual consumers alike rocking the Bruce Kilgore-designed pair. Over its history, we’ve seen The Swoosh switch things up from time to time which has helped freshen the 40-year-old sneaker, though their latest redesign seems to be drawing inspiration from street art, graffiti specifically, on the Nike Air Force 1 Low Spray Paint Swoosh.
Seen in its classic all-leather build, you might mistake the pair for your typical white-on-white AF1 give for the black and grey branding details. Everything appears standard from the perforated toebox to the white-on-white eyestays, tongue, and lace set, but once you reach the quarter panel you’re hit with double-Swoosh action in a graffiti-style spray paint on the lateral side and a black leather Swoosh on the medial side. This reaches back to a white leather heel tab that hosts “Nike Air” branding in black, following suit with the same logo found on the tongue tag. For the sockliner and insole, more white shades appear while we also find another “Nike Air” logo in black. Finishing the entire design is the white AF1 midsole that features faint hits of black spray paint throughout paired with a white rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Spray Paint Swoosh is set to release in the Spring of 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is TBD.
