The Nike Air Force 1 Low Sustainable Canvas Pack has not one but two pairs that align with Nike's initiative to lessen its carbon footprint by having zero carbon emissions and zero waste by 2025. Each pair sports a recycled canvas upper in Black or Sea Glass.
The first colorway in the Sustainable Canvas Pack comes in black, neutral olive, chlorophyll, earth, and sea glass. The black-based upper sports a combination of canvas, mesh, and leather. Canvas covers the majority, while mesh adorns the tongue and leather via the Swoosh on the sides. Chlorophyll detailing comes into play via the Nike Air branding on the tongue tag and stitching along the perimeter of the tongue. The insole is earth brown, with Nike Sustainability logos printed in sea glass. A Nike Regrind sole in neutral olive completes the look.
The second pair comes in sea glass, black, chlorophyll, and earth. Also made of canvas, mesh, and leather, sea glass replaces black on the upper. Bright chlorophyll adorns the Nike Air branding on the tongue tag and stitching on the tongue, mimicking its black-based twin. Earth brown-colored insoles are present once more with sea glass Nike Sustainability logos. Rounding things out for this pair is a black-based Nike Regrind sole.
Accompanying the shoes is special packaging, using a recycled Nike box that doubles as a biodegradable flower vase.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Sustainable Canvas Pack is set to release on February 1, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, retail is set at $125.
