Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few months, you'd know that 2022 marks the Air Force 1's 40th birthday. Designed and developed by the legendary Bruce Kilgore back in 1982, Nike has been releasing a bunch of must-have colorways. Now, with the year already coming to a close, the Oregon sportswear giant is set to finish off the celebrations with a bang with the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low Unity "Beef & Broccoli," and here's everything that you need to know.
In case you didn't already know, the last time we got a "Beef & Broccoli" Air Force 1 was all the way back in 2018 when the Swoosh dropped a five-sneaker collection. While that is regarded by many sneakerheads to be one of the best Air Force 1 packs in history, we think that 2022's version is arguably even better. Working on top of a ballistic mesh base that's dipped in "Light British Tan," these Forces are decorated with supple dark driftwood suede panels that wrap around the rest of the upper for a luxe look and feel. Off Noir accents venture towards the sockliner and Air midsole, and to round it all off, the broccoli-inspired Swoosh glides across the sides in a lush green fir tone, finalizing the delicious colorway.
With unique tread detailing along the sides of the midsole, these are perfect for the wet and windy months ahead. Releasing on November 1st, 2022 in men's sizes for $130, the Nike Air Force 1 Low Unity Beef & Broccoli will be available via Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store retailers worldwide.
