Nike’s AF1 silhouette has a storied history and has been used as a canvas for countless designs over the last four decades. As a part of its upcoming “Unlock Your Space” pack – which contains a Dunk Low, Air Max 1, and an AF1 Low — The Swoosh is giving the kids an exclusive colorway on Bruce Kilgore-designed silhouette.
Boasting a white leather upper, the silhouette sees a green plastic lace dubrae contrasting with the white-on-white lace set and tongue. The top portion of the tongue hosts space-themed Nike branding on a black tag, while a gradient pattern containing yellow, green, and blue adorns the sockliner and tongue lining. The same color scheme then takes over the leather Swoosh on the midfoot. An 8-bit graphic on the lateral heel depicts a figure playing basketball with an asteroid hitting them, and more 8-bit basketball motifs cover the heel tab. The shoe sits atop a white midsole with green AIR text and a semi-translucent blue outsole.
