Over the years, the iconic Bruce Kilgore-designed Nike Air Force 1 has been seen in a series of colorways that venture from the standard monochromatic look we all picture. For its latest take on the silhouette, Nike is giving the kids an exclusive colorway with color-changing details, The Nike Air Force 1 Low UV Light.
Much like the recently revealed Nike Dunk Low “UV Light,” this AF1 incorporates UV-sensitive materials that change color when exposed to sunlight. The colorways for both pairs are similar, with navy and white shades taking over. The AF1, however, swaps the placement and puts navy on the leather overlays while white hits overtake the toebox and quarter panel. The Swoosh logo turns into a vibrant yellow once exposed to UV light, and a sun graphic stamped on the lateral heel maintains the theme. Also giving sun vibes is the tongue tag's orange and yellow finish. Rounding out the design is the white midsole with orange Air branding paired with a white outsole.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low UV Light GS will release on July 20, 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in grade school sizing, the retail price is set at $105.
