From LA-inspired patchwork designs to celebrating the Ghanian community of “Little Accra,” the Nike Air Force 1 Low continues to be the canvas on which Nike can express various stories of cultures, regions, and more. The Air Force 1 Low “We Are Familia" is up next with a fresh Latino inspired design.
Coming in a tonal brown shade across the canvas and suede construction, the silhouette comes with mismatched colors on the chenille-covered Swoosh details. On the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay sits a suede that contrasts the canvas toebox, tongue, and midfoot panel. Tonal laces run up the tongue to a multi-color tongue tag that gets redesigned on the left shoe to include the phrase “We Are Familia,” also found printed atop the insoles. Around the midfoot, the Nike Swoosh comes in yellow chenille on the lateral side while the medial side comes in green, providing a pop of color amongst the sea of brown. Back on the heel tab, blue cracked leather is home to red Nike branding details. Rounding everything out is the brown-on-brown rubber midsole and outsole combo.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low We Are Familia is slated to release in October 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's, grade school, and pre-school sizing, the retail price is set at $110, $90, and $70 respectively.
