Nike has crowned their Air Force 1 and Dunk silhouettes as two of the best ever, not that anyone would argue that. To further this message, special “World Champ” editions of both models will be released throughout 2022. The latest pair to join this collection is this Lakers-themed AF1 Low.
Coming in black, iron grey, white, and metallic gold, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “World Champ” is reminiscent of the team colors for the Los Angeles Lakers. While no team branding is present, the gold and purple accents on these Air Force’s unofficially tie them together with the professional basketball team from the City of Angels. Sporting an all-black upper, cracked leather underlays are paired with nubuck overlays, a nylon tongue, and patent leather Swoosh on the sides as well as the back heel tab. White contrast stitching is highlighted by metallic gold branding on the tongue tag and back heel, purple lining, and custom world title belt lace dubraes. A classic white AF1 midsole and black outsole complete the look.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “World Champ” Lakers is set to release in 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $120. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
