Thanks to Nike, we are all living through a PANDAemic. It has reached a point where a walk through the grocery store or downtown will be filled with pairs of the Nike Dunk Low Panda, in part due to the sneaker restocking what seems like every month. Flipping the script colorwise, the latest Nike Air Force 1 Mid appears to take on a "Reverse Panda" color scheme.
Dressing the upper is a mixture of smooth and tumbled leather across the underlays and overlays respectively. Down on the toebox, midfoot panel, and collar you’ll find the smooth black leather contrasting the coconut milk shaded tumbled leather mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay. Working up the black tongue is white cotton laces with a plastic AF1 branded dubrae to match. Just above the all-white lockdown strap is a black and white Nike Air tongue tag, though the phrase “Air Force Every 1” is embroidered just below. Both the sockliner and insole come in black with the same added phrase present on the insoles graphic. Nike’s famous Swoosh gets a redesign with sawteeth surrounding the edges, working back to a heel tab featuring the same sawtooth pattern. Underfoot, a white-on-white midsole and outsole combo complete the look.
The Nike Air Force 1 Mid Reverse Panda W is set to release in July 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
