Even though Tinker Hatfield's Air Huarache is well over three decades old, it still look more futuristic than ever. Since 1991, the legendary silhouette has transcended various different sports, subcultures, and style tribes, and even after all this time, its design has pretty much remained unchanged. Whether you're a hardcore collector of the model or you're searching for your very first pair, the Nike Air Huarache "Light Iron Ore Photon Dust" has your name written all over it.
After checking out the "Anthracite" and "Photon Dust" earlier this season, the Oregon-based sportswear company is still churning out must-own Huaraches. Spotted here with a multi-material construction, the original neoprene base returns in a crisp light iron ore hue, and this is complemented by mesh and leather overlays which wrap around the rest of the upper. To the back, you'll find a slightly yellow heel counter which offers a vintage vibe, and all of this sits on top of a clean Nike Air midsole that features an almost identical look to the '91 OG. This is all finished off with the classic "Huarache" emblem which adorns the tongue, finalizing the design.
Releasing in men's sizes sometime in Summer 2023, the Nike Air Huarache Light Iron Ore Photon Dust will retail for $125 and will be available via Nike and select retailers online and in physical locations.
