It wasn’t too long ago when the Nike Air Huarache was dominating the streetwear scene. As with all trends, the hype eventually died down but the Huarache still managed to stay somewhat in the spotlight with its OG-style colorways. After revamping the Huarache for it’s 30th Anniversary in 2021, Nike Sportswear has successfully brought the early 90s runner back into limelight.
Nicknamed the “Michigan” edition, this Nike Air Huarache comes in white, midnight navy, and varsity maize. Last seen in 2004, the 2022 version remains true to its predecessor. Featuring white leather overlays and an OG mesh toe, along with a navy blue and yellow Neoprene bootie. Black accents the heel counter, tongue logo and outsole while an Air cushioned midsole completes the look.
The Nike Air Huarache Michigan is set to release in June 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select retailers worldwide in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizes, retail is set at $120. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
