While most sneakerheads are already bringing out their “Triple Black” rotation, the Beaverton footwear company has some more colorful kicks in-store for us, including the Nike Air Huarache "Run NYC." Celebrating the city’s iconic boroughs, which include The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island, this special edition release is made for lovers of the City That Never Sleeps.
A truly one-of-a-kind release, the Huarache "Run NYC" kicks it all off with a bright yellow mesh panel on the toe box that’s contrasted with bright crimson neoprene panels on the lateral and medial sides. Pure Platinum nubuck gives the Huarache an extra premium fit and finish, while the signature heel pull tab is dipped in a bold bright spruce tone. As if this colorway isn’t crazy enough already, the Swoosh injects a splash of magma orange in the sockliner. Everything is then finalized with a special insole that’s printed with “Run NYC," 5 Borough Tour,” and a whimsical illustration of NYC’s famous skyline.
