There's no denying the lasting legacy of the Nike Air Huarache. Introduced in the early '90s, the Huarache has continuously evolved while maintaining its unmistakable silhouette and foot-hugging comfort. This summer, Nike brings a fresh aesthetic to this iconic model by introducing the Nike Air Huarache Runner, which pairs traditional materials with modern design sensibilities. After its debut, the Runner will also arrive in a stealthy Black Medium Ash colorway
Sporting a timeless black and medium ash color scheme, the Air Huarache Runner features traditional materials like leather, suede, and mesh. Suede overlays are coated in a subtle black hue, while a darker black appears on the the leather toebox overlays, mesh base layer, and TPU heel overlay. The renowned neoprene tongue from the original Huarache design remains, providing superior comfort. Air Huarache branding graces the tongue, and miniature Swoosh logos appear on the toebox and midfoot. Rounding off the design is a black midsole and outsole.
The Nike Air Huarache Runner Black Medium Ash will release July 20 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. The retail price is set at $140.
