The Huarache is an iconic silhouette in the Nike catalog, and its latest iteration, the Nike Air Huarache Runner is giving new life to the Tinker Hatfield-created line. Considerable colors, such as Summit White Metallic Silver and Light Smoke Grey Violet Dust have hit the market this year, with Light Smoke Grey and Light Orewood Brown Earth set for early 2024.
Next is the Nike Air Huarache Runner Cargo Khaki, which will go straight to your fall-to-get list next to hay rides, apple picking, and leaf peeping (I don't know why it's a thing either). The upper features a cargo khaki-colored neoprene nylon base with nubuck overlays. Underneath is a layer of tumbled leather, rocking in sequoia. All three of the Nike Swooshes and the Huarache emblem on the tongue brighten up the shoe as it arrives in white. The laces, tongue, and sockliner are all dressed in the same mesmerizing shade of dark green. Pleasant glimmers of reflective 3M material around the toe box and back provide visibility at night. The sneaker is finished with the classic Air Huarache midsole in white with a sequoia green rubber sole.
The Nike Air Huarache Runner Cargo Khaki will release October 20, 2023, through Nike and select NSW retailers both online and in-store. Available in men’s sizes, retail is set at $140.
