Originally released in 2000, the Nike Air Kukini was the dream sneaker for a runner. Some of the positives of the Nike Air Kukini are that it’s easy to put on and take off, its lightweight, and its breathable. What makes this sneaker standout most is the elastic foot web. This web allows the sneakers to be laceless, while still providing a dynamic, comfortable fit.
Nicknamed the “Game” edition, this Nike Air Kukini comes in multi-color, white, off noir, and glow. The upper features a multi-colored, 3D-like, pixelated graphic throughout. Off Noir accents the hits of leather, with an aged, yellowish vibe on the lining and midsole. The elastic foot web is a milky translucent, with the Alpha Project five dots prominently featured on the heel. Those five dots represent the process of the products a part of the Nike Alpha Project, “Enquire, Research, Create, Test, and Compete.” For those who don’t know, the Nike Alpha Project was created in 1999.
The Nike Air Kukini Game was originally set to release on July 15th, 2022. After a short delay, it will now release on August 27th. It will drop at Nike and select retailers worldwide, online and in-store. Retail is set at $140 for men’s sizes. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
