The cult following for this Nike Alpha Project sneaker should rejoice, as the Nike Air Kukini finally returns in true retro form. Several different patterns and colorways are set to arrive in 2022, including one with a topographical map printed on its upper.
Featuring an elastic foot web that replaces the shoelaces entirely, the Air Kukini features clear web wraps around the entire top of the foot, extending out from the bottom of the midsole, and wrapping around the back heel of the sneaker as well. The mystic vavy upper is a tight, seamless, and stretchy mesh for added breathability and comfort, featuring the contouring lines of a topographic map in a shimmery aviator grey. The white phylon midsole features a visible Max Air unit in the heel, with the window of the Air unit framed with mystic navy. White leather on the toe, tongue, heel counter, and heel tab are paired with the ephemeral five-dot logo of the Nike Alpha Project debossed into the lateral side of the heel counter.
The Nike Air Kukini Mystic Navy Aviator Grey is set to release in September 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Nike retailers worldwide, in-store and online at a retail price of $120 in men's sizes. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
