Last year, Nike reintroduced the original design for the Air Max 1 with the Big Bubble variant, which was initially recalled due to QC issues. Since then, the '86 OG version of the Air Max 1 has consistently seen releases alongside golf-ready variants of the sneaker. Nike gives the Air Max 1 '86 OG Bright Ceramic accents for its latest course-ready makeover.
The Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG Golf Bright Ceramic retains the beloved OG color blocking that fans have come to adore, with a modern twist tailored for the golf course. It features a white mesh base that ensures breathability and comfort, complemented by neutral grey suede panels that add a touch of sophistication to the silhouette. The design is further elevated by vibrant pops of orange along the suede mudguard, Swoosh, and TPU eyelet, infusing the sneaker with energy and flair.
The orange motif extends to the Nike Air Max logo on the tongue and the branding on the heel, creating a cohesive and eye-catching aesthetic. The sneaker is finished with a white foam midsole that houses the larger four-chamber Air unit in the heel, providing unparalleled comfort and support. A spikeless golf-ready rubber outsole in black, white, and bright ceramic ensures stability and traction on the golf course, making this shoe a perfect blend of performance and style.
The Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG Golf Bright Ceramic will release in Summer 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men's sizing, the sneaker will retail for $160.
