Without a shadow of a doubt, the Nike Dunk Low "Panda" has been something of a cultural phenomenon. Originally introduced as part of the Swoosh's Spring 2021 line-up, the monochromatic color scheme quickly became adored by all, even by those who didn't consider themselves as sneakerheads before. Naturally, the American sportswear company began to roll out the panda palette to various other silhouettes as well. From the Air Jordan 1 Low to the Dunk Mid, even the Terminator High was recently blessed with the bear-inspired colorway, and now, another OG icon is set to do the same with the freshly-announced Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG Golf "Panda." Taking on the Tinker Hatfield classic, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
Engineered to hit hole-in-ones, this Air Max 1 works on top of a crisp white mesh base and is overlaid by suede panels throughout. A slick black Swoosh shoots through the lateral and medial sides, and this is complemented by a buttery mudguard that wraps around the entire upper for that Panda-esque vibe. Of course, with this being a golf shoe, the Air midsole has been reworked with the green in mind. While it retains the legendary exposed Air bubble around the back, the outsole has been beefed up with grippy traction and a more durable finish. Additional branding is finely stitched across the tongue tag and heel, finalizing the design.
Releasing sometime in Summer 2023, the Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG Golf Panda will be available in men's sizes for $150. Expected to launch at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers within the coming months, keep it locked on our Twitter and download our officialMobile App for your best chance to cop!
