Alongside the return of the Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG Big Bubble in sneaker form, Nike Golf also put their twist on the debut Air Max for 2023. We've seen plenty of golf-ready colorways released, such as Obsidian and the Ryder's/Solheim Cup Pack. Tying to Air Max Day 2024, not only is Nike Sportswear bringing back the Air Max 1 '86 OG Royal, but the Air Max 1 '86 OG Golf will also drop in this original colorway.
Identical to its University Red counterpart, the Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG Golf Royal takes design inspiration from the classic white, hyper royal, pure platinum, and black colorway. Neutral Grey suede overlays are paired with white mesh underlays for a clean and classic look. Hyper Royal accents the Swoosh on the sides, top plastic eyelets, insoles, mudguard, and branding on the tongue tag and back heel. The Big Bubble comes into play in the heel of the white midsole. A modified golf-ready, tri-color, solid rubber outsole transports the classic runner from the pavement to the green.
The Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG Golf Royal will release on March 27, 2024 through Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
