The Air Max line has always been known for pushing boundaries and blending style, comfort, and a distinct cultural relevance. Recently Nike took a trip to “The Bay” with the Air Max 1 and is now heading to Korea with Tinker Hatfield's OG design.
Constructed with a blend of hemp, tumbled leather, and woven textile, the Air Max 1 '86 OG World Make Korea provides a multi-textured appeal. Tan shades dominate the hemp toebox and collar, while the textile midfoot panel, tongue, and heel display a two-tone white and tan finish. Creamy tumbled leather covers the mudguard, vamp, and heel overlay to continue the complementary arrangement. The creamy laces appear below the hemp tongue tag featuring classic Air Max branding, tying the upper together. A standout feature is the cork insole, which boasts Nike Korea branding, a "WM" graphic, and the phrase: "Designed for sport. Crafted for life. World Make." Underfoot we see the “Big Bubble” Air unit with its four-pillar design surrounded by cream midsole and above a black outsole.
The Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG World Make Korea W will release on September 22, 2023 through Nike and select online and in-store retailers. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
