Nike continues to do things right regarding new colorways of the Air Max 1. Sometimes, keeping things simple and classic is the way to go. This practice has proven solid over the past couple of years since Nike resurrected the Tinker Hatfield design on a more continual basis. With pairs like the OG Big Bubble Royal (W), Olympic, and Baroque Brown on the way, there's still plenty of Air Max 1s in store for us throughout the rest of 2024. Joining this ever-growing lineup of releases is a Field Purple iteration.
The Nike Air Max 1 Field Purple comes in a clean white, field purple, and black colorway. This SC (special colors) version is similar in design to the Clear Jade pair released in 2023, sporting a combination of mesh, suede, and leather on the upper. White OG mesh dresses the toe, tongue, collar, and lining, accented by grey suede overlays. Field Purple comes into play via the leather Swoosh on the sides and mudguard and the top plastic eyelets, insoles, and branding on the tongue tag and back heel. A classic Max Air cushioned white midsole sits atop a tricolor solid rubber outsole in field purple, black, and white.
The Nike Air Max 1 Field Purple will release in Summer 2024. They will be available at Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $150.
