This year has been big for the one that started it all, the original Nike Air Max 1. Celebrating its 35th birthday, the Nike Sportswear team has already treated us to some gems in 2022, such as the Air Max Day pairs and collabs with Concepts. As we continue on, we have much more to look forward to. Everything from GR’s, to NBHD releases such as the “Treeline,” and collabs with retailers like Kasina are on the way. Included in that list is this “Light Madder Root Worn Blue” pair.
First previewed via a CAD image as a part of an Air Max Preview back in January, this pair falls in the same theme as the “Treeline” pair. Coming in light madder root, vivid green, rattan, worn blue, sail, and ironstone, this pair draws inspiration from hiking the trails. Featuring premium suede overlays in light madder root and worn blue and rattan mesh underlays, a vivid green Swoosh on the sides adds a pop of color. Custom printed insoles, a sail colored midsole and ironstone rubber outsole complete the look.
The Nike Air Max 1 Light Madder Root Worn Blue is set to release on May 19th, 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $150. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
