The Nike Air Max 90 is one of the most iconic silhouettes ever. Nike has successfully taken this early 90s runner and turned it into a general-release model available all year round. Even with the GR stamp attached, Nike keeps the hype alive by releasing OG colorways, collabs, and special editions to keep sneakerheads on their toes. After seeing the Nike Air Max 90 Rose return to shelves recently, Nike is set to drop another rose-themed AM 90 in the coming months, Black Rose.
A women's exclusive, the Nike Air Max 90 Black Rose keeps the Rose theme from the abovementioned pair and changes its base layers. Coming in black, light smoke grey, rose, and white, black OG mesh underlays are paired with grey suede overlays. The nylon tongue, leather mudguard, and Nike Air branding on the back heel tab are also dressed in black, while the last hit of light smoke grey is seen via the lining.
White comes into play via the laces, Nike branding on the tongue tag, leather Swoosh on the sides, and midsole. Rose covers the rest of the sneaker, including the Air Max branding on the tongue tag, inside tongue lining, bottom plastic eyelet tab, Air Max badge on the mudguard, back heel tab, midsole wedge, and portions of the outsole. The solid rubber outsole design is split between black and rose.
The Nike Air Max 90 Black Rose W is set to release in Spring 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
