The Swoosh has blessed Air Max fans all throughout 2022 in honor of the line's 35th birthday, releasing brand new iterations like the Air Max Scorpion as well as giving us countless colorways across the board. Though the celebration ends in 2023, we’ll still have no shortage of Air Max models as the original “Big Bubble” variant of the Air Max 1 is set to make a return for the first time on top of more GR colorways. One of these widely available releases, the Nike Air Max 90 “Ocean Bliss” has just been revealed.
Typical Air Max 90 materials are utilized as the upper comes in a mixture of leather, mesh, and TPU, though the Swoosh branding along the midfoot does get a semi-translucent makeover. Covering these materials is a mostly single shade of blue, ocean bliss, the is found on the leather mudguard, midfoot, and vamp as well as the mesh underlay. Contrasting this, white laces run up the blue tongue towards another semi-translucent panel, a Nike-branded tongue tag. Further branding details, like the “Air Max” window on the lateral heel overlay and the “Nike Air” on the heel tab come in icy blue and white respectively while the design of the upper is finished through a white sockliner. Rounding out the entire sneaker is the white foam midsole with a visible Air unit in the heel paired with an icy blue semi-translucent rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max 90 Ocean Bliss is set to release in the Spring of 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
