Even though the Air Max 90 is over three decades old, it pretty much looks identical to what it originally looked like when it was first unveiled back in 1990. Designed by the legend that is Tinker Hatfield, he was originally an architect for Nike, and so you can clearly see how he's infused his passion for buildings into this silhouette. With all that said, let's take our very first look at the Nike Air Max 90 Reptile "White Black."
While it may look incredibly simple from a distance, upon closer inspection you'll find that there's way more than meets the eye. Crafted from a clean white leather construction, a contrast black Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels for a look that is sure to turn heads. As its name states, the Air Max 90 Reptile is covered from heel to toe in a snakeskin-like emboss that adds texture and depth to the design. All of this sits on top of a Max Air cushioned midsole that's also done up in all-white, finalizing the minimalist aesthetic.
