Spooky Season is upon us! With that, Nike is set to unleash numerous Halloween-themed kicks perfect for trick-or-treating and coinciding scary parties. We've seen the Skull Pack featuring the Dunk Low and Air Force 1 Low, the Book 1, Ja 2, Giannis Freak 6, and Zoom Vomero 5 (GS), all in themes that pair perfectly with the autumn festivities. Another classic Nike silhouette, the Air Max 90, gets a Halloween makeover, giving another option for those who plan to go scarin'.
The Nike Air Max 90 Halloween Scarab draws inspiration from the Air Max Plus of the same name. This pair comes in a black, dark russet, chlorophyll, metallic copper, sequoia, and monarch colorway. The upper comprises black mesh underlays paired with color-shifting synthetic leather. Chlorophyll, dark russet, monarch, and black accents pop off the rest of the overlays, including the Swoosh on the sides, eyelets, heel badge, and tongue tag. 3M reflectivity under the mesh layers provides a shine perfect for those walking the dark streets at night. A black midsole with visible Max Air cushioning in the heel sits atop a tinted rubber outsole to complete the look.
The Nike Air Max 90 Scarab Halloween is set to release on October 31, 2024. They will be available via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $140.
