Even though Christian Tresser's Air Max 97 is well over a quarter of a century old, its design remains as futuristic as ever. Inspired by Japanese bullet trains and water ripples, you'd be hard pressed to find a sneaker that has stood the test of time better than the AM97. If, for whatever reason, you still don't have a pair in your daily rotation, stop what you're doing right now and divert all of your attention to the Nike Air Max 97 "Light Bone Black." A monochromatic masterpiece, keep on reading to find out everything that we know so far.
Bearing a striking resemblance to the Air Max 97 "Hangul Day" that released last month, this colorway is split into two parts. The top half is offered in a classic leather and mesh outfit and is painted in a slick black palette, while the bottom half opts for a light bone tumbled leather construction that looks and feels pretty premium to the touch. Between both of these sections, you'll find a slither of supple brown suede that wraps around the entirety of the sneaker. A Swoosh logo is stitched atop the canvas sidewalls, and all of this sits on top of a creamy midsole that's fitted with a full length Air unit for unrivaled comfort and cushioning with every step.
The Nike Air Max 97 Light Bone Black is set to release sometime in Summer 2023 in men's sizes, and will retail for $175 at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers online and in-store.
