This year saw Nike prep various silhouettes with an “electric” safari print to celebrate the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Included in the collection was a pair of Air Max DNs, the latest innovation from Nike’s Air Max line that debuted on Air Max Day 2024. While we just got our first look at the follow-up to the DN, the DN8, another safari-covered colorway, has just appeared.
Toning down the color palette compared to the other safari colorway, this Air Max DN sees a primarily white finish with metallic silver and orange accents. The textile upper comes coated in white, with the haptic secondary layer taking on a contrasting metallic silver hue. More stark white shades are found on the tongue, lace set, and sockliner, while the Air Max DN logo on the tongue takes on a classic white, black, orange, and red color scheme. The electric safari print comes in metallic silver on the mudguard and fused TPU reinforcements across the edge of the upper and sole unit. Stability is added to the sneaker via the TPU shank on the midfoot, taking on a two-tone white and metallic silver finish. At the same time, the cushioning setup sees a Phylon midsole covered in the safari print and an orange Air Max DN unit in the heel.
The Nike Air Max DN Electric White Metallic Silver will release November 11, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
