Nike's legacy of innovative Air technology continued with the Nike Air Max DN. Introduced on Air Max Day in March 2024, this silhouette showcases the brand's new Dynamic Air unit, setting a new standard for comfort and performance. Since its debut, the Air Max DN has been featured in several striking colorways, including the upcoming Olympic and Safari editions. Now, Nike is paying homage to one of the most iconic Air Max 97 colorways with the release of the Gold Bullet.
The Air Max DN Gold Bullet channels the essence of the classic Air Max 97 Gold Bullet, known for its shimmering metallic hues. This iteration of the Air Max DN features a golden textile upper, complemented by a haptic secondary layer that adds depth and texture. The gold theme extends to the TPU elements that line the edge of the upper and the sole, as well as the tongue, sockliner, and lace set.
Branding on the tongue and heel mirrors the Tuned Air logo, giving a nod to the heritage of the Air Max line. Underfoot, the sneaker boasts a white Phylon midsole equipped with a gold TPU shank in the midfoot, providing stability and support. The heel houses the Dynamic Air unit, ensuring responsive cushioning with every step, while the look is completed with a black and gold outsole.
The Nike Air Max DN Gold Bullet W will release in Holiday 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
