Once exclusive to Foot Locker, this sneaker boasts a gradient upper that allows this sky-inspired color palette to come to life. With its last major appearance in 2018, fans have been eagerly waiting for the return of the OG. Now, according to Brendan Dunne of Complex, the OG Sunset colorway is slated for Fall 2024.
The allure of the Nike Air Max Plus Sunset lies in its intricately detailed mesh upper. It's adorned with a gradient orange pattern that gradually darkens, mimicking the setting sun's transformation. Strengthened with TPU overlays, the shoe receives further dimension and durability, all in a contrasting black shade. This black hue further accentuates the mudguard and heel overlay, providing an elegant backdrop for the deeper orange Swoosh on the midfoot. A splash of yellow breathes life into the heel tab, showcasing the Tuned Air branding. Completing this stellar design is the signature Air Max Plus midsole in pristine white. It is paired with vibrant orange Tuned Air bubbles at the forefoot and heel, ensuring optimal cushioning. Below, the black rubber outsole promises durability and traction.
