The Nike Air More Uptempo is very quickly becoming one of the most sought-after retro basketball shoes on the market. With special editions like the "Valentine's Day" and exclusive collaborations with the likes of the Serena Williams Design Crew currently on the cards, we're now taking our first look at the Nike Air More Uptempo "Black Volt Geode Teal." One of the latest colorways to hit Scottie Pippen's hardcourt model of choice, make sure you keep reading to find out everything that you need to know.
Boasting a slick black suede construction that's soft and supple to the touch, vibrant volt accents make their way to the Swooshes along the front and and back, as well as outlining the signature "AIR" branding across the lateral and medial sidewalls. Speaking of which, each letter is decorated with a geode teal paint splatter effect that offers an artistic edge. This marine-like hue extends towards the sockliner, as well as the rubber outsole underfoot. To round it all off, cord pull tabs hit the tongue and heel for a rugged look and feel, and a video game-inspired graphic is printed on the insole for a playful aesthetic, finalizing the design.
Made exclusively for kids, the Nike Air More Uptempo Emerging Powers GS is set to release on August 12, 2023. Retailing for $140, $100, and $80 for gradeschool, pre-school, and toddler sizes, it'll be available at Nike and select retailers globally.
