The Nike Air Rift Breathe Pack Releases Summer 2025

Low-top tabi toe shoes have always hit the niche market looking for this specific style, but trends shifting have made tabi shoes “in” again. Many of these come from high fashion labels charging hundreds if not thousands, but Nike has its version of a tabi toe it produced in 1995, the Nike Air Rift, which was inspired by Kenyan distance runners and their barefoot running technique. The model gained a cult following overseas and returned to the fold in 2023 since being released in multiple colorways. For Summer 2025, Nike is bringing forth numerous mesh variants of the model.
The Breathe Pack includes three women’s exclusive versions of the Nike Air Rift: one in Healing Orange, another in Black, and a third option in Light Orewood Brown. Each pair comes coated in a monochromatic color palette in the titular hue, covering the mesh paneling around the toe and midfoot, the terrycloth base, and the canvas strap. On the end of this strap along the forefoot is a leather patch hosting an embroidered Nike Swoosh, with a similar design found on the heel.

The major highlight here is the tabi toe design, which dates back to the 14th and 15th centuries. It splits the big toe from the rest of the toes in the foot. Adding to the model's comfort is the Phylon midsole, which contains Air branding in the center and is paired with a grippy rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Rift Breathe Pack W will release in Summer 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is $120.
