From the brilliant mind of Tinker Hatfield, the Nike Air Trainer 1 was a tennis sneaker that eventually found its way onto the feet of athletes in a wide variety of sports. In comes the “Midnight Navy” variant that will definitely find its way onto the feet of many this coming year.
This Nike Air Trainer 1 features grey short-haired suede panels on the upper around the toe rand, lateral quarter panel, and heel counter. The minimally perforated white leather underlay of the toe box extends just beyond the navy leather lockdown panel and is prominently featured on the medial quarter panel. The navy midfoot strap features “Nike” in red, with the top figure-eight eyelet featuring the same color. White smooth leather around the ankle collar complements the grey suede heel panel with “Nike Air” and the Swoosh logo stitched in red. A white midsole and outsole, with portions of grey rubber on the outsole, cement the colorway.
The Nike Air Trainer 1 Midnight Navy has already seen an overseas release in April 2022 and is expected stateside in July. It will drop at Nike as well as select retailers worldwide, in-store and online, at a retail price of $120. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
