The revival of the Air Trainer 1 in 2022 is far from over, as Nike prepares to drop a Tokyo colorway of the Bo Jackson-endorsed sneaker. The Nike Air Trainer 1 is no stranger to premium leathers and intricately executed details, and this colorway is no exception. Aside from the custom hang tag, you can find the logo from the hang tag debossed into the crocodile print throughout the sneaker, furthering tying into the Tokyo theme.
Black tumbled leather covers a vast majority of the upper, with standard tumbled leather used for the toecap and mid panel. The mudguard and heel counter accent are debossed with crocodile print, along with the “TYO” Swoosh logo found on the hang tag. Accenting white leather is found on the perforated toebox, ankle collar, and on the upper’s Nike Swoosh branding. On the heel, at the top eyelets, at the bottom of the laces, and on the outsole, is a deep, but vibrant purple color for some added flair.
The Nike Air Trainer 1 Tokyo is set to release on November 1st, 2022. It will drop at Nike, as well as at select retailers worldwide both in-stores and online. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $140. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
