KCMO Represent In The Nike Air Trainer SC High Royals

Nike is celebrating the 35th anniversary of their popular cross trainer silhouette with a handful of colorways planned throughout the year, including a now on hold Travis Scott Air Trainer. Instead of calling on today's influencers, the Swoosh is taking us back to the models original co-signer, Bo Jackson. Previously released in Oakland Raiders and Auburn Tigers colors, Bo’s baseball team the Kansas City Royals get honored with the Nike Air Trainer SC High “Royals” edition.
Designed for use across all athletic ventures, this Nike Air Trainer is constructed with perforated leather as the base with plastic, suede and nylon overlays throughout. The color palette chosen represents the uniform colors of the Kansas City Royals, featuring hues of blue, black and white. This baseball theme is furthered by the white laces featuring blue baseball stitching along the edge.
Underneath the plastic eyelets housing these laces, nylon strap overlays help provide a more secure lockdown when on-foot. Along the lateral side, a 3M overlay and Nike Swoosh provide shine against the white base and royal blue nylon straps. Working back to the heel, a black nubuck overlay houses the Nike branding. Rounding out this KC Royals tribute, a tri-colored blue and white make up the midsole with exposed Air unit paired to a white outsole.
The Nike Air Trainer SC High Royals is set to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store for a retail price $130 in men's sizing.
