Arike Ogunbowale, a shining star in the WNBA known for her impressive skill and undeniable charisma, is now immortalized in sneaker form thanks to Nike. Teaming up on the latest performance basketball sneaker from Nike Basketball, the Zoom GT Cut 2, Arike Ogunbowale's presence is made known through select details.
This GT Cut 2 showcases an array of orange and yellow shades, a tribute to Arike's radiant persona and impactful career. The engineered mesh upper dons a two-tone orange color scheme, complemented by clear TPU across the toebox and midfoot. A yellow Swoosh creates a vibrant contrast against the surrounding orange, matched by the GT Cut 2 logo embellishing the neoprene tongue. The design extends to a leather heel tab, TPU heel counter, and foam midsole all bathed in varying shades of orange. Arike's name is placed on the heel, her number is emblazoned on the heel tab, and Dallas' skyline is debossed into the leather. Completing the shoe is a semi-translucent orange outsole.
The Nike Air Zoom GT Cut 2 Arike Ogunbowale will release this fall through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
