Nike's commitment to celebrating diverse cultures remains undiminished. As part of their ongoing tribute to Latin culture, the brand introduced the "Familia" collection. With the Air Max 1 in this collection already receiving official images, Nike introduces another gem to this lineup: the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 40 Familia.
The design of this newest addition borrows hues reminiscent of the Familia Air Max 1, elegantly blending shades of white, green, yellow, blue, and pink. The shoe's base is constructed of white engineered mesh, gracefully interspersed with hints of pink. Commanding attention, the midfoot boasts a vibrant, multi-colored Swoosh that immediately draws the eye. Adjacent to this, yellow bungee loops provide a pop of color, harmoniously contrasting with pink embroidery. The Familia emblem and a miniature Swoosh, both outlined in pink, adorn the heel and are mirrored inside the shoe on a colorful insole. As a foundation, a creamy Air Zoom cushioned foam midsole sits atop a striking green and red rubber outsole. All of this is packaged in a custom Familia-branded box and is accompanied by a tote bag adorned with identical branding.
The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 40 Familia will release September 27, 2023, through Nike and select retailers both online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
