Where the world would be today without Nike, luckily, will forever remain a mystery as the sportswear giant has pushed the boundaries in the footwear and sportswear industries for 50 years. Going way back to the founding of what was once Blue Ribbon Sports, Bill Bowerman’s coaching days with the University Of Oregon and training a young Phil Knight led to the explosion that was Nike Inc. Ever since this moment we’ve seen the school be blessed with various colorways paying homage to the Ducks and PEs from some of the top silhouettes under the Nike umbrella. For the 2022-23 NCAA season, the Oregon Ducks are set to rock an array of PEs from Nike Basketball including sneakers from Paul George (Nike PG 6), Giannis Antetokounmpo (Nike Zoom Freak 4), and LeBron James (Nike LeBron 20).
Alongside the three previously named players, the team will also take the court with the latest mainline Nike Basketball sneaker, the Nike Air Zoom GT Cut 2, as well as Kevin Durant’s signature Nike KD 15. Across all of the sneakers, we find various color schemes that match the uniform of the Oregon Ducks as well as the school's “O” logo and Duck mascot making appearances atop the tongue (or on the heel of the LeBron 20). Some come mainly in bright yellow while others appear in a stark white or vibrant green with the other two colors acting as accents on the various overlays, underlays, and branding details.
