The iconic Nike Cortez still holds a place in Nike’s stacked lineup of sneaker releases. Even into 2025, the model is bound for multiple makeovers, including two Valentine’s Day renditions, one for the kids and the other for the ladies. The model will join Nike’s Sea Glass Pack, which has been going viral online for its questionable wavy exoskeleton applied to the Dunk Low and Air Force 1 Low.
Unlike the other two sneakers in the collection, this pair features a much more subdued use of this wavy exoskeleton. Here, the TPU is only applied around the bubble Swoosh on the midfoot, with the logo taking on a sea glass color. More of this greenish shade is applied to the lace dubrae and heel tab, the former of the two hosting the white lace set. Summit white and light iron ore appear on the rest of the upper, as summit white acts as the base layer, and light iron ore appears on the toecap and eyelets. Underfoot sits a sea glass and white foam midsole paired with a grooved rubber outsole in a tonal finish.
The Nike Cortez LX Sea Glass W will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is $120.
