The Nike Dunk in its various iterations of “Panda” colorways has created a buzz around both the silhouette and the color scheme that is so easy to wear. Even with the constant restocks of the low-top iteration, The Swoosh is still looking to bring some variety to its high-top cousin, as seen on the upcoming Nike Dunk High See Thru “Reverse Panda.”
Like the Nike Dunk Low “Reverse Panda,” this high-top version brings with it a black/white combo across its leather panels with the latter of the two shades making it to the overlays. There are some slight design tweaks for what Nike is dubbing “See-Thru” as some panels get removed, allowing you to see what goes into the sneaker as well as adding new elements like the heel's zebra-patterned suede. Around the toe and quarter panel you’ll find exposed panels of black leather and white mesh respectively on top of the Nike Swoosh getting partially constructed out of yellow suede. Things return to normal on the tongue and lace set although the lateral sides heel overlay gets a rectangular cutout in its center. Down below, the sole unit opts for a standard Dunk midsole and outsole combo, getting dressed in white and black respectively.
The Nike Dunk High See-Thru Reverse Panda is slated to release in 2022 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is TBA.
