Nike has given us no shortage of Dunk colorways in the last few years, arguably staying their most coveted silhouette. With this, The Swoosh has had to throw a few remixes to the Peter Moore-designed sneaker in their rotation of releases, from a variation constructed of scrap materials, recycled materials, and platform sneakers for the ladies. Now we’re getting first looks at one of the more subtle changes to the Dunk High we’ve seen in recent memory with the double Swoosh-laden Nike Dunk High Stadium Green.
Coming dressed in an almost wholly two-tone design, the silhouette stays true to its roots with a majority all-leather upper. Along the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay, a stadium green leather complements the nearby white leather on the perforated toebox, midfoot panel, and collar area. A white-on-white lace and tongue combo sit along the forefoot with a redesigned tongue tag featuring “85” branding in place of the usual Nike logo. Returning to the eyestays and tongue lining, a raw edge is visible, coming in a light blue with hints of green throughout. The Nike Swoosh along the midfoot portion gets double-stacked in a stadium green and black combo, straying from the leather design usually found, and instead comes in suede. For the sockliner, a white mesh complements the stadium green insole featuring Nike branding in white text. Underfoot, the white Nike Grind midsole and Nike Grind rubber outsole in stadium green complete the look.
The Nike Dunk High Stadium Green is set to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
