Many may consider the Nike Dunk Low to be the superior model of the Dunk lineup, though Nike has continuously offered a wide range of colorways to choose from on the sneaker, such as the upcoming Nike Dunk High "White Picante Red." Although the tried and true all-leather build shines to this day, The Swoosh is starting to build a roster of chenille-Swoosh variants, as seen on the recently revealed Nike Dunk High University "Black Safety Orange."
With the majority of the silhouette sticking to its leather construction, the sneaker takes on a vibrant shade of orange across the mudguard, eyestays, heel collar, and sockliner with black accents coming via the various underlays. Working up the black mesh tongue is a set of tonal orange laces, stopping below the black and white Nike tongue tag. Heading over towards the midfoot, the Nike Swoosh gets a redesign, appearing larger than normal and taking on a tri-tone look of orange chenille with black and yellow piping. Internally, the orange sockliner accents a white insole featuring Nike branding in black with the orange Swoosh borrowing the shades nearby. Rounding out the look is the white Dunk midsole and gum rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk High University Black Safety Orange is slated to release in Holiday 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $135.
