While Nike can get crazy with their Dunk themes, the simple colorways often make more noise amongst sneaker heads (excluding SB’s, of course). While being released as a low top back in 2020, the Dunk High gets the “University Red” treatment two years later.
This Nike Dunk High comes in a classic two-tone design with red and white leather covering the entire silhouette, identical to the original “Be True To Your School” St. John's University colorway from the mid-80’s. Overlays around the toe box, collar and eyelet come in red, accenting the white underlays. Red laces pop off the white tongue, featuring a red Nike Air branded tag. Further Nike branding comes in red on the Swoosh, working back to the leather pull tab on the heel. The two-tone look is finished by a white Dunk midsole paired to a red rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk High University Red is set to release on March 1st, 2022 and May 17th on SNKRS. It will drop at Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, this pair will retail for $110.
