Nike is set to release a new iteration of the Dunk Low, this time featuring a unique cracked leather design. The Nike Dunk Low "Lava Dunk" is a two-tone all-leather sneaker reminiscent of the iconic "Syracuse" colorway.
Orange cracked leather accents can be found on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlays, while a tonal orange lace set complements the "cracked" graphic on the Nike-branded tongue tag. Sail-shaded tumbled leather dominates the toebox, quarter panel, and collar. The Swoosh on the side features a cracked appearance that is also found on the heel tab. The sockliner and insole also come in orange, with the latter featuring a cracked graphic stamped on top. All this sits atop a sail Dunk midsole and a semi-translucent orange rubber outsole with cracked graphics below.
The Nike Dunk Low Lava Dunk W was originally set to release September 15, 2023. It will now drop on August 12 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Releasing in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
