Nike continues to champion diversity and inclusivity with their upcoming women's exclusive release, the Dunk Low Disrupt 2 “Native Tribal.” While Nike typically honors Native American culture through the N7 program, NSW will celebrate the community with this release.
The Dunk Low Disrupt, an audacious redesign of the iconic Dunk Low silhouette, caters to the women's market with its exaggerated dimensions and unconventional detailing. This "Native Tribal" edition forth a vibrant color palette and intricate designs with various tribal patterns placed on the leather panels of the upper. A canvas of white and cream hues contrasts the patterns, rendered in red, mint, and blue shades. Adding to the shoe's distinct aesthetic is an asymmetrical lacing system, combined with inverted eyelets, which deliver a new spin on the traditional Dunk Low silhouette. Further detailing includes multiple Swoosh logos, added panels near the heel, and a metallic silver Nike-branded lace dubrae, which matches the Swoosh-laden logo on the tongue. We see a tassel in red, white, and blue on the heel tab. Rounding out the design is the white midsole and the semi-translucent sail outsole. The included rope in the packaging bears a multicolored tassel at its end.
The Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Native Tribal W will release Holiday 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Exclusively available in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
