With the PANDAemic still going strong, Nike seems to fuel the fire by adding simple black and white color schemes to plenty of their silhouettes. Most famously coming via the Nike Dunk Low, another "Panda" is on the horizon, though this time on the reworked Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2.
The silhouette houses plenty of DNA from a typical Nike Dunk Low, though reworked overlays and added details throughout make the new take stand on its own. As with all “Panda” colorways, the leather overlays around the mudguard, slanted eyestays, and heel come in all-black while the toebox, tongue, and collar get dressed in a stark white. An added eyelet on the toebox, alongside the slanted redesign of the eyestays, makes the black lace set appear slanted. Along the midfoot, two Nike Swooshes are present with one coming embroidered in black and the other visible only by the outline stitching. An added black overlay covers the bottom half of the heel and is contrasted by white stitching details. On the insole, the retro pinwheel Swoosh logo is surrounded by various shapes in different colors. Rounding out the look is the white Dunk midsole paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Panda W is slated to release this Fall through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming exclusively in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
