The Dunk craze continues to rage on in the sneaker world even with Nike releasing what seems like a new colorway every day. While the trend may not be at an all-time high, maybe a little refresh to the model can spur extra buzz. That's where the Nike Dunk Low Remastered steps in, taking the 80s basketball silhouette into the modern day both aesthetically and technologically while still maintaining its core DNA. First spotted in an “Olive” colorway, the silhouette now has been spotted in “Light Silver Pink Foam.”
Typical leathers and mesh make their way to this Remastered version of the Nike Dunk Low, though the base layer gets completely taken over by a light silver mesh. Atop this, your usual leather overlays appear on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay although there are slight tweaks to cut and the addition of a cover on the eyestays. Working towards the mint green tongue you’ll notice an inside-out effect with the Nike branded tongue tag getting turned sideways and thick exposed foam on the edges. Another addition to the sneaker is the inclusion of a nylon pull tab that runs down the center of the aforementioned tongue, acting as a lace loop for the tonal green laces. Along the midfoot, a jumbo Swoosh begins just above a hit of pink found on the edge of the sole and upper, working back to a brandless heel portion. Underfoot, a white Dunk midsole houses new cushioning for the model, coming with a full-length Air Strobel unit. Finishing the design is the slightly redesigned rubber outsole that gets a cream makeover.
The Nike Dunk Low Remastered Light Silver Pink Foam is set to release in the January 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
