Dunks may be “dead” to resellers, but the silhouette is still a major hit for the general public. Even with Nike planning on slowing down production, the humble silhouette continues to emerge in new makeovers for Spring 2025, many of which are plays on the original Be True To Your School collection. Alongside the tweaked St. John’s and Syracuse, a new Georgetown colorway has appeared online with a slightly different material makeup.
Unlike the original two-tone all-leather Georgetown Dunk, this pair opts for a suede construction along its obsidian mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay. Below this sits light smoke grey leather, visible along the perforated toebox, and smooth leather midfoot and collar panels. White tumbled leather breaks up this two-tone look via the Swoosh on the midfoot and the Nike text along the obsidian woven tongue label. Further hits of grey and obsidian are found on the tongue and lace set, respectively. Finishing the upper is the obsidian sockliner and matching suede heel tab, the latter hosting white Nike text. Down below, the model comes with a white rubber midsole and an obsidian rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Suede Georgetown will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $120.
