Over the decades, Nike's Dunk Low has garnered a legendary reputation, particularly for its iconic two-tone colorways, a nod to its Be True To Your School (BTTYS) origins. As sneakerheads prepare their collections for Summer 2024, Nike offers a fresh take that resonates with historical palettes while introducing a contemporary vibe. The White Concord is reminiscent of previous Dunk classics and looks set to become a fan favorite in the coming months.
Drawing parallels to the lauded Court Purple iteration from 2022 and the recent SB Dunk Low Court Purple, the White Concord edition of Nike Sportswear’s Dunk Low captures attention with its balanced interplay of white and purple. The vibrant purple leather elegantly traces the mudguard, eyestays, signature Swoosh, and heel, blending seamlessly with the lace set and tongue tag. In contrast, the toe box, quarter panel, and collar are bathed in a crisp white, creating a harmonious visual appeal. A white tongue juxtaposed with a purple sockliner adds another layer of depth. Internally, you'd expect to find more purple on the insole. However, the Nike branding stamped on the foam insert comes in university red. Final touches include a pristine white Dunk midsole, which pairs beautifully with a concord purple rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low White Concord will release on April 1, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and gradeschool sizing, retail is set at $115 and $90.
