Nike has been supporting Native American and Indigenous youth with its N7 line since 2009. For the past 14 years, the Beaverton-based brand has donated more than $8 million in grants to over 270 communities and organizations. Now, as part of its latest N7 collection, the Oregon sportswear giant has taken the wraps off the Nike Free Crater Trail Boot N7 "Olive Flak." An all-new model that updates the Free Crater Trail from last year's line-up, make sure you read on to find out everything that you need to know.
Arriving in the form of a boot, the aptly-named Free Crater Trail Boot N7 quite literally takes the original mule silhouette to new heights. Working on top of a cargo khaki suede base, a zig-zag cage wraps around the lateral and medial side panels in olive flak, forming the one-of-a-kind lacing system. Orange laces wrap around a series of soft pink eyestays, and they're tightened using a toggle switch setup which offers a utilitarian vibe. Elsewhere, a dash of smooth leather dresses the toe area in a lush green hue, and underfoot, you'll find an ultra comfortable Nike Free midsole that has been a running track staple since 2010. Of course, you can't talk about this shoe without mentioning the fiery habanero red sherpa material which completely dominates the collar and sockliner, finalizing the nature-inspired aesthetic.
Dropping alongside the Air Max 95 N7, the Nike Free Crater Trail Boot N7 Olive Flak will officially release on January 14th, 2023 in men's sizes, and will retail for $160 at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers online and in-store. More N7 sneakers are expected to be announced very soon, so make sure you follow Sole Retriever on Twitter and download our officialMobile App to find out everything that you need to know!
